Great Question! Team USA is led by two highly respected players within the stickball community which were selected by members of the ISL board and approved by SkyBounce, the sponsoring company of Team USA. The remaining 6 starters will come from stickball leagues in the U.S. The Emperors Stickball League along with San Diego and Florida will be asked to vote for two players each to recieve the honor of representing Team USA in the international tournaments. There will be more information on the International Stickball League tab which can be found on the home page. Thanks for your support! :)

Who is team USA?

Rich Mojica Jr. said:   December 8, 2008 6:56 pm PST
NYC: Here is my phone number 321-287-8967. I would love to play with you in Panama. All you need is a passport and send me your shirt size. I have some nice NYC Stickball T-shirts, as the one I was wearing in Panama. So come help me represent where it all started as I can't do it all on my own. Contact Rich Morrero from the ESL, he is well informed of the vision we have for the sport and of the travel dates! Or contact Tyrone Viruet for details. Thanks for the support :)

Dont forget where it all started. Respect your elders...

Pedro Calderon said:   December 8, 2008 3:42 am PST
Wow! You guys were truly embraced in Panama! We understand your intentions. You're right, winning is not about who has more points at the end of 7 innings. That's for the scorebook, for record keeping :) What counts is what comes out of your heart before, during and after the games. I will never forget that message! Very inspiring!

Isabel Medina said:   December 7, 2008 1:38 pm PST
Rich - congratulations to you and the league for all the success in Panama! You guys are doing an awesome job building friendships and stronger communities all around. Good luck and best wishes for even bigger and greater successes in 2009!

Tyrone said:   December 1, 2008 6:56 pm PST
Rich , your making a inner-city street game into a World dream. I played this game since the age of eight and it's time to think outside the box and into other countries. give me a call and tell me whats your next move. Young Neptunes for life.
